The Punisher coming to PC
THQ's ultraviolent shooter will mete out vengeance to PC gamers next January.
This morning, THQ sent out a press release saying that Thomas Jane, star of the The Punisher film, would provide the voice for the same character in The Punisher game. This struck many as odd, since THQ had already announced Jane's participation in the ultraviolent Xbox, PlayStation 2, and GameCube shooter in August.
Of greater interest was the fact that THQ is now bringing the Punisher to the PC. Also developed by Volition, it will launch alongside its console cousins in January 2005, just in time to allow gamers to blow away any trace of holiday cheer. For a taste of the Punisher's skull-bursting and face-curbing brand of savagery, take aim at our latest impressions of the game.
