Rockstar Games today released the "official" Grand Theft Auto V trailer, showing off the much-hyped open-world action game ahead of its September 17 launch.

Check out the trailer below.

In addition, Rockstar Games said the same trailer will be shown on AMC during this Sunday's episode of Breaking Bad.

GTAV launches in 19 days on September 17 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Rockstar Games recently discussed the game's soundtrack, which will feature 240 licensed songs.

@anybodykilla15 @G4mBi7 @mucking_foron @unreal101 I hate to get all up in Carolyns business, because she does have a valid point to make. I would just worry that she would use something like this to again point out sexism in the industry. This narrative will include sexism for sure.

I enjoy Marks reviews. Though he doesn't play GTA according to the first trailer breakdown.

Glad Breaking Bad is getting so much mention today, but I'm not really a GTA fan so I'm not sure if it's the best place to advertise this game. I actually think putting this on during South Park or something would actually reach their main demographic easier lol.

But it'll be clever to see if AMC does a partnership promo and compares the criminal activity of Walt and Jesse to the criminal activity in GTA.

Rockstar and Naughty Dog are the only two game development studios that I look up to with great admiration. You always know that whatever they release is going to be a quality product. I wish more developers and especially publishers would be like them.

Edit: Oh I forgot to add Bungie as well, love those guys.

@Earthen80 Its strange, Naughty Dog went from creating games with great gameplay and crap stories (Crash) to making games with good stories but crap gameplay. Hopefully they will find that middle ground soon.

@Earthen80 True, but I don't like these developers you mentioned at all. Why? simply because they don't release their content for all 3 major platforms. If truly loved what their doing and the games their make, they would have released their content for all platforms so every gamer out there would have the possibility to grab them.

Personally I could never play any of their games, because I'm exclusively on PC [never had the money to grab a PS or an xBox]

@SrebX I hear ya.I bought a Xbox 360 to play Red Dead Redemption.It's a 4 gb one.Now I need a flash drive or bigger hd to play GTA because it has to be installed.Rather have it on pc but oh well I guess.
