The New Book In The Best-Selling Eragon Series Is Already Discounted At Amazon
You can also save on Christopher Paolini's other books, including a box set containing the first four Eragon novels and the Fractalverse sci-fi series.
Murtagh, the fifth book in Christopher Paolini's best-selling Eragon series--also known as The Inheritance Cycle--dropped earlier this month, and fans who haven't picked up the New York Times Bestselling fantasy novel can grab a hardcover copy for just $22.48 (normally $30) at Amazon.
The Inheritance Cycle is a young adult high-fantasy series set in a world filled with dragon-riding heroes, evil kings, and powerful magic. Murtagh is set one year after the events of the first four Inheritance Cycle books and follows fan-favorite character Murtagh and his dragon companion Thorn. The pair have been exiled following the events of the previous novels but soon find themselves on a quest to stop a new evil that threatens the world of Alagaësia.
While Murtagh: The World of Eragon is a direct sequel to the original novels, the book's description says it's "the perfect book to enter the World of Eragon for the first time." However, if you want to catch up on the full series, you can grab The Inheritance Cycle 4-Book Trade Paperback Set--which includes Eragon, Eldest, Brisingr, and Inheritance--for just $33.77 at Amazon (was $64). You can also pick up the new illustrated edition of the first book, Eragon, for just $31.49 (down from $46).
