The Moon Project goes gold

The sequel to Earth 2150 is complete and ready to ship. New screenshots inside.

Game Studios has announced that the sequel to Earth 2150 has gone gold and should ship to stores on March 9. The Moon Project uses a modified version of the engine used for Earth 2150 that can zoom in much closer on individual units than the previous engine. Though the three factions in the game come from Earth 2150, there are a number of new units in the game including artillery, Kiev-class nuclear submarines, and earthquake generators. In addition, each map in the campaign mode is modeled after actual locations like San Francisco and Munich.
