The latest trailer for the next MCU movie, The Marvels, has landed. A sequel to Captain Marvel, this film focuses on Carol Danvers AKA Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) dealing with unintended consequences that have destabilized the universe.

"When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan, Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol's estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau. Together, this unlikely trio must team-up and learn to work in concert to save the universe as The Marvels," reads a line from the movie's description.

Kamala Khan is played by Iman Vellani and Teyonah Parris portrays Monica Rambeau. The trailer also features Samuel L. Jackson returning as Nick Fury, and a bunch of cats who are not all they seem. Here's the trailer:

The Marvels is directed by Nia DaCosta, who previously directed Candyman and Little Woods. The Marvels releases in theaters on November 10, following a delay from July.

MCU Phase 5 began with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania back in February. This was followed up by Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 in May, then The Marvels in November. After that, Phase 5 will continue with Captain America: Brave New World and Thunderbolts in 2024.

Marvel boss Kevin Feige recently talked about the plans for MCU Phase 5. "I would say in very generalized terms, as you see in Quantumania, it's about setting up the big overarching thread that will go through the next phases," he told EW.

In other Marvel news, the company has confirmed that it will slow down and space out Marvel TV shows to help give each more of a chance to shine.
