Now Playing: The Last Guardian -- Late Game Hands-On Impressions

The Last Guardian will be getting a PS4 Pro patch when it launches in December.

According to Eurogamer, Sony's long-anticipated Shadow of the Colossus follow-up will be updated to support 4K upscaling, with more, unconfirmed performance enhancements also included in the download. Eurogamer describes these improvements as "minor."

The Last Guardian will also support HDR--regardless of which PlayStation 4 model you own.

The PS4 exclusive finally went gold in October, after nearly a decade in development and numerous delays, though creator Fumito Ueda insists the game is timeless. GameSpot recently got the chance to play it and interview Ueda--check out Scott's thoughts in the video above. The Last Guardian launches on December 6 in North America, December 7 in the EU and Australia, and December 9 in the UK.
