The King of Fighters 2000/2001 golden

SNK NeoGeo USA has today announced that The King of Fighters 2000/2001 has gone gold and is on track to arrive in stores across North America on December 9. The combo back comprises both the 2000 and 2001 editions of The King of Fighters along with a number of extras, including unlockable movies of previous King of Fighter games, new 3D stages, and a party mode in which players are pitted against randomly generated characters.

"The enthusiasm that has greeted our first release for the PlayStation 2 has been fantastic," said Ben Herman, SNK NeoGeo USA Consumer Corporation president. "Both longtime fans of the King of Fighters series and the gaming press have been tremendously supportive."
