The Division's website has been updated with a Google Maps-like interactivity feature that lets you virtually stroll down the post-pandemic streets of New York City.

As explained on Ubisoft's blog, the map provides a 360-degree view of Manhattan's streets. You can also clicks on points of interest to learn about them and get information about how in-game weapons and systems work.

This is not as in-depth as the real Google Maps for New York City, and it doesn't include Brooklyn, but it's still pretty neat and a fun way for fans to learn more about The Division before its launch.

In other news about The Division, you can now watch all four episodes of the game's live-action prequel video series.

The Division's closed beta begins on January 28 for Xbox One owners who preordered the game, while PS4 and PC users can get started January 29. The beta ends on all platforms on January 31. You will apparently be able to pre-load the beta client 48 hours before release.

After multiple delays, The Division's full release is now scheduled for March 8 across Xbox One, PS4, and PC. For lots more on The Division, check out GameSpot's roundup of everything we learned about the game recently.
