A new update for The Division coming out on June 28 alongside the Underground expansion will introduce some "significant" changes to weapon balance, Ubisoft has revealed. The developer made the announcement in its latest State of the Game blog post, adding that more specifics about the weapon balance changes are coming "very soon."

The Division's 1.3 update will also add "other things," such as unspecified bug fixes and gameplay changes, as well as new weapons and one new gear set.

We'll report back with more information about the weapon balance changes and everything else included with 1.3 when it's made available.

Although The Division's Underground expansion will only be available for Xbox One and PC players on June 28 (it's coming to PS4 on August 2), players on all platforms will receive update 1.3 on that day.

Underground is The Division's first of three paid expansions. The others are Survival, which was discussed briefly at E3 last week, and Last Stand.
