When it comes to anime, Hayao Miyazaki is considered a pioneer in that industry thanks to his groundbreaking cinematic work at Studio Ghibli. Every frame is a work of art, and if you're looking to add an art gallery of content to your home movie collection, then you'll want to snap up The Collected Works of Hayao Miyazaki on Amazon.

Originally released in 2015 for $250, this box set is an Amazon exclusive.

Comprised of 11 feature films in a Blu-Ray boxset collection, this bundle includes Miyazaki's greatest hits, ranging from Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind to Howl's Moving Castle. There aren't any extras in this collection for any of the 11 films, and the 12th disc contains Miyazaki's entire retirement press conference, which only lasted for a few years before he announced that he was coming back to make one final film. The 12th disc also contains Miyazaki's 1972 pilot presentation Yuki’s Sun and three episodes of the series Little Samurai that Miyazaki worked on.

The films remain as brilliant today as they were se, and with a collection of themes that range from anti-war to mankind's destruction of nature, they're still incredibly relevant today. The full collection comes in an attractive box, and includes the following animated features:

As for Miyazaki's final film, How Do You Live, this one is being released on July 14 in Japan. No promotional materials, trailer, or marking will be produced for the film save for a single poster. It's relying solely on Miyazaki's name and legacy. How Do You Live is inspired by the 1937 novel of the same name by Genzaburo Yoshino.

If there are particular Studio Ghibli movies you love, you should check out the limited-edition steelbook editions, which come with Blu-ray and DVD versions of each film. A bunch of the steelbook editions are currently on sale for big discounts at Amazon.
