Not surprisingly, big games draw the biggest audiences.

How do you define the best videos of the year? The cinematography? The acting? The graphics and frame rate? Well, here at GameSpot we're going by "the videos you watched the most."

At the beginning of the year, we hadn't heard about quite a few games for a long time, including: Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem, Silent Hills, Kingdom Hearts III, Tekken X Street Fighter, EverQuest Next, Crackdown, Scalebound. We know that status on some, but a few others are still missing in action. Check out the full list in the video above.

I like videos, but wish they would all include closed captions and an accompanying editorial for those who are deaf or don't have time to watch or can't watch with volume on.

The editors top 5 games is just a video but you could easily list the 5 games + a blurb for each for those who can't watch the video but instead there's nothing. I had to skip over these even though I wanted to see the content and now I know not to bother clicking on the next ones that will be coming up this week.

If you guys want more clicks/hits that would be an easy way to do it.

When I saw the Quiet vid on the list, I was wondering how I could've missed it, but after seeing it, I felt awkward and confused. It was horribly directed, the characters look weird, and the setting was odd,Mike some teenagers threw in some random lines and scenarios thought up in five minutes. Not even 1980s b-movie quality.

Witcher 3 is the champion of all things!

But please fix your video player, I only watch your videos on Youtube, it doesn't really work right on mobile devices.

The mary kish video about skimpy armor was popular for all the wrong reasons. The video thumbnail still annoys me.

None of The Point videos here? I was under the impression that they were immensely popular (and rightly so), especially the one where Danny compares Destiny to a casino. Also, Number 8 is "Gaming Trends That Need To Die In 2016" but the video is "Gaming Trends That Need To Die In 2015". I'm not sure if that's correct. Anyway, my favorite video here is the GameSpot Staff vs. Rocket League devs.

Danny's series of Witcher videos were outstanding. My personal favourite was the first of that series in which gave a brief history of videogame development in Poland.

It would be nice to see more of this kind of content on Gamespot in the future.

@el_swanno: Yeah, it was pretty good. History of gaming in former Eastern Bloc countries is rather unknown, but really interesting. It explains why attitude of developers from Poland is so different than one of UK/American companies. CD Projekt was founded as a local distributor of PC games. 'CD' stands for 'Centrum Dystrybucyjne', which means distribution center. These guys were shaping Polish gaming market, infested by piracy in the 80's, 90's and early 2000's (over 97% in the 80's and the early 90's). CDP set standard of default Polish translation (English version was default before) - their first big release was Baldur's Gate with new voice over recorded by well known Polish actors. Nobody did this before on such a big scale. It was a big risk, but also huge success. After few years CDP started to sell cheap collections of previously released premium games - first 'cheap' brand was Extra Game, which you could buy in every newsagent's kiosk. I still have the boxes. :-) CDP later rename it into Extra Classic - some of the finest games were released under that brand e.g. Baldur's Gate & Neverwinter Nights series, Heroes of Might and Magic III, Leisure Suit Larry 7, Fallout saga (1,2 and Tactics). CDP's policy was consistent. Year after year they were convincing more people to buy legally released PC games. Also CDP was known at that time for its physical content, especially collector's editions, unavailable in Western countries. Such stuff was just another way of bringing attention of people, who were downloading games illegaly. CDP saw (and still see) them as potential new customers. That's why standard editions of TW2 and TW3 have soundtrack, map and a guide or manual. That's the philosophy these guys developed as PC games distribution company. CD Projekt changed Polish market forever and that's their great merit. :o)
