The Best PS Plus Deals On Amazon Prime Day 2020

It's a safe bet that we'll see some great deals on PlayStation Plus next week, but the best deal might already be available.

With Amazon Prime Day 2020 underway, there are some great deals on PS Plus memberships now available. While the PlayStation 5 is set to bring Sony fans a ton of new technological upgrades, Sony is still relying on the same PlayStation Plus service it's used for the last 10 years, which makes some of the major sales happening this week a great time to start thinking about re-upping your PlayStation Plus subscription. PS5 users with an active membership will also gain access to the PlayStation Plus Collection, a Game Pass-esque library with a bunch of popular PS4 games. You don't need to have been a subscriber in the past to get these games. That's a good thing, as some of them actually have been offered in the past.

Last year, annual PlayStation Plus memberships were discounted from $60 to $40 at Amazon during Prime Day. That's a pretty great deal, and we think there's a good chance we'll see it again. With that said, you will certainly want to compare prices on Prime Day, as the best PS Plus deals are potentially already available.

Current PS Plus deals

Right now, North American PlayStation players can grab 12 months of PlayStation Plus from Daily Steals for $33.49 with promo code GAMESPOTPSN. If the Daily Steals deal sells out, Ebay also has PS Plus memberships for $35. Both of these deals are digital codes that are delivered via email and can be redeemed at the PlayStation Store. PS Plus subscriptions stack, so even if your subscription isn't about to expire, it's worth adding an additional year at a great price. You'll need the service to keep getting freebies and online access.

While there's a chance that Prime Day 2020 could bring even steeper discounts on PS Plus, the $33.49 price is the lowest we can recall.
