The first episode of GameSpot's new professional wrestling podcast has arrived. Wrestle Buddies, hosted by entertainment editor Chris E. Hayner and news editor of entertainment Mat Elfring, dives deep into the best and weirdest parts of wrestling and there's no better place to start than the time RoboCop invaded WCW.

Yes, way back in 1990 the character RoboCop stepped out of the movies and onto WCW programming. What would cause that, you wonder? It was revealed that he was somehow best friends with Sting at the time, in the midst of the Stinger's feud with the Four Horsemen. In the premiere episode of Wrestle Buddies, Chris and Mat head back to 1990 to revisit the show Capitol Combat: Return of RoboCop and try to figure out how any of this happened.

On the heels of the most recent Money in the Bank pay-per-view, we also look at our favorite cash-ins of all time, from Edge's first WWE Championship win to the time Seth Rollins bought his way into a WrestleMania main event. With well over a decade of Money in the Bank matches to look back on, there are plenty of highlights.

Lastly, the debut episode of Wrestle Buddies tackles the all-important topic of the top five wrestling video games of all time. With so many titles to choose from, Mat and Chris each pick their five favorites. If yours didn't make the list, sound off in the comments.

New episodes of Wrestle Buddies are released every Thursday on the podcast platform of your choice.

While WCW made highly questionable decisions way back when, cliche yes, I'd much rather sit through two or three hours of its programming and be entertained rather than what is coming out of CT today. Give me a three hour loop of the Shockmaster's debut (with Davey and Sting) !
