Thanksgiving-themed Borderlands 2 DLC out now
2K Games and Gearbox release The Horrible Hunger of the Ravenous Wattle Gobbler on all systems for $3.

2K games and Gearbox Software today released Thanksgiving-themed downloadable content for Borderlands 2 called The Horrible Hunger of the Ravenous Wattle Gobbler. The DLC, the second of three Headhunter expansions for Borderlands 2, is available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC for $3.
The content will be available in Europe and Oceania tomorrow, November 27.
In the DLC, players will participate in a hunger-themed competition hosted by Mr. Torgue where they are challenged to hunt down a giant turkey, the Wattle Gobbler, pictured above. Players will also meet Mr. Torgue's grandmother, Grandma Flexington, in the content for the first time. "Grandma Flexington reminds us that we should be nice to Grandma during the holidays, even if she rambles on for way too long," 2K Games said.
Additionally, new character heads and skins will also be available as part of The Horrible Hunger of the Ravenous Wattle Gobbler. 2K will release the third Headhunter add-on, How Marcus Saved Mercenary Day, sometime in December. The Halloween-themed TK Baha's Bloody Harvest launched in October.
Borderlands 2, released in September 2012, is the most recent entry in the shooter series. It has shipped over 7.5 million copies to date and is on pace to become 2K's best-selling game of all time.
