TGS 2001 Fall: New Onimusha 2 media

GameSpot brings you several new screenshots and video clips from the upcoming samurai action game Onimusha 2 for the PlayStation 2. In the game, players will assume the role of samurai legend Yagyuu Juubei, who is modeled after the now-deceased Yusaku Matsuda, a renowned actor in Japan mostly recognized among Western audiences from the motion picture Black Rain. With a soul-sucking demon gauntlet and weapons such as katanas and spears, players must once again fight against the Genma creatures led by Nobunaga Oda.

Onimusha 2 is scheduled for a release on March 7, 2002, in Japan. We'll have hands on impressions shortly, but in the meantime, have a look at the brand-new videos below.
