Tetrisphere Gets Rolling
The first action puzzle game for the Nintendo 64 is due in stores this August.
Tetrisphere has been completed and approved for distribution, H20 Entertainment announced today. The first action puzzle game for the Nintendo 64 is due in stores on August 11. Alexei Pajitnov, the Russian creator of the original smash hit Tetris, consulted on the game's development.
The insanely addictive title debuted at Nintendo's expansive E3 booth to positive reviews. It will be the second game marketed by Nintendo this summer, the first being StarFox 64. Tetrisphere will also be one of nine games Nintendo will distribute between now and Christmas. Expect screenshots of the title here in the next few days.
