Now Playing: Batman: The Telltale Series - "Guardian of Gotham" Episode Trailer

Telltale Games today announced the release date for the fourth episode in its Batman series. Episode 4, Guardian of Gotham, will launch on Tuesday, November 22.

It'll be available on that date for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. The episode will also launch that day for iOS and Android. Telltale also released a launch trailer for it--take a look in the video embed above.

In a statement, Telltale teased that the ending to Episode 4 will leave players in "very different places" depending on the choices they make in the third act.

Here is the official synopsis for Guardian of Gotham:

"In Episode 4, Penguin has taken control of Wayne Enterprises, and the Elizabeth Arkham Asylum for the Criminally Insane has a new guest--you--Bruce Wayne. With the Batman removed from the streets of Gotham City, Harvey Dent's forces and the Children of Arkham are at war, with innocent citizens caught in the crossfire. To escape the 'comforts' of your padded cell, you must choose allies to aid in your escape, even if they aren't the sort to put a smile on your face. How far are you willing to go for justice? For vengeance? What now, Dark Knight?"

Telltale's Batman series is also available to buy on a physical disc; this includes the first episode pre-installed, while the remaining can be downloaded when they become available. There will be five episodes in all.

The game features the voice of Troy Baker (Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare) as Bruce Wayne. Richard McGonagle (Uncharted series) plays Carmine Falcone, while Laura Bailey (Gears of War 4, Halo 5: Guardians) portrays Selina Kyle.

Ugh. Why? Why does The Joker have to be in this? He's a favorite character of mine but it's like any Batman game is too afraid to be without him. The storyline was fine ... it feels like they're just including him because they feel they have to.

Also ... Harvey is burned? So it doesn't matter what choice you made back at the end of chapter 2?

This is why I stopped playing as they release. One episode takes like 10 minutes to complete, then you wait months for the next one to release. They should have these all done already and release them at least once a month, if not twice. By the time a new episode releases you forgot what happened in the last one.

@sargentpsgamer: UHH ep 1 was released in August, ep 2 in September and ep 3 in October and ep 4 next week so how is that waiting months for the next one so that is one a month.

@daleksec1977: UHH as I said, I stopped playing the games so I obviously wouldn't know. I also suggested 2 episodes a month or to make them longer, but lets ignore that..... When I did play them we had to wait an entire year just to finish them (pretty much every Walking Dead series they did)

"In a statement, Telltale teased that the ending to Episode 4 will leave players in "very different places" depending on the choices they make in the third act." Well it only took them 4 episodes for the choices to actually do things besides change the facial complexion of a certain character (who acts crazy regardless of what choice you made).
