Telltale's Batman Episode 3 Launch Trailer Shows Gotham After an Attack
"New World Order" begins its rollout on October 25.
One day before its release, Telltale Games today published the launch trailer for "New World Order," the third episode in the developer's Batman series.
New World Order tells the story of the aftermath of an attack by the evil Penguin that played out on live TV. You play as Batman and must learn more about the mysterious Children of Arkham (who were introduced in Episode 2) to help stop Penguin's plot. Additionally, Selina Kyle/Catwoman reveals more about her identity to Batman, while Gotham's mayor, Harvey Dent, becomes "deeply changed" after the events of the attack. Check out the trailer in the embed above.
New World Order comes out on October 25 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and PC. No mention was made of a release date for Xbox 360, iOS, or Android, but Telltale said it will announce release dates for additional platforms "in the near future."
Telltale's Batman series is also available to buy on a physical disc; this includes the first episode pre-installed, while the remaining can be downloaded when they become available. There will be five episodes in all.
The game features the voice of Troy Baker (Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare) as Bruce Wayne. Richard McGonagle (Uncharted series) plays Carmine Falcone, while Laura Bailey (Gears of War 4, Halo 5: Guardians) portrays Selina Kyle.
