Tekken Tag Tournament 2 arcade bound

Well this was a waste of time to read, seeing how its in Arcades and Japan only -rolls eyes-

Alright just b4 checking gamespot i felt like playing tekken tag and I thought to myself that it was the best tekken ever. And as soon as I check Gamespot there it is announcement of Tekken tag 2 with no release date. Why. Why me. Why now. Whyyyyyyyyyyyy.

@MEDzZ3RO that's what i mean.... get it rdy for console release as well or there's no point in us knowing about it. what does PC have to do with this????

Good thing Takken is getting back into the fray because it'll be a long time before Takken x Capcom will be ready.

There's no doubt it will come to consoles here. Arcades in the US are DEAD. It would be poor business to release it arcade only on these shores.

Finally! I'm sure they will release it to consoles.

Tekken Tag is why I bought a PS2 (when I finally found one back when they were always sold out)... Please don't make me buy a Japanese Arcade Machine.

@warrner11 Why?,PC isn't known for it's fighting games or any other genre other then FPS and MMO.The original sold really when on PS2 (a console).

omg! what are we all going to do?? next year all stupid games like marvel vs capcom 3,gears of war 3,crysis 2,DMC 5,Fifa 11,Pes 11,etc etc.TEKKEN tag tornament 2 is the only respite we have from all these terrible games!!(very heavy sarcasm):P

Lame. I go on to Gamespot. The first thing I see on the main page is "Tekken Tag Tournament 2 revealed!". I click on it and find out it's not even coming to consoles. My hopes were raised and swept away in an instant. I hate you Gamespot!

bringing this to Arcades would be rather dangerous when they are being closed all over the world (including Japan) where Namco closed about an approx 13 of its Amusement houses it would be a waste motoin looks like it use the Tekken6 graphic engine which is PS3 HARDWARE although i guess it will not appear for another 2/3 years owing to the fact that Harda-san is busy with Tekken X Streetfighter & the fact that he has a 100 r&d staff working on the Arcade version of Tekken7 it may well come as a late entry only time will tell though

Holy crap! I never they'd make another Tag game. The first was possibly my favorite Tekken. That or the Tekken 3.

I wont be buying exactly the same game again only with 1 more mode. If they improve the customization, add 5 more characters, and 20 more stages, I might consider it.

Is it just me or did Heihachi sort of look much younger than he should o_O

looks like the graphic is better then tekken6, which looked dated and upscaled for this gen compared to soul calibur 4.

DOA 2 was the first game to use this fighting system.

Really by now this should be in by default in all future Tekken games. None the less i want a Tag version of Tekken much more than the normal standalone.

The tag system in Mortal Kombat 9 looks much more interesting.
