This will probly come to consoles, but if it doesn't, that will really suck. Every time they've released a new tekken I've been hoping for Tag in it but they have just pee'd on the fans by not giving them a feature that they know everyone loves. It's about time they got around to this.

i always thought tekken 3 and tag was the peak of the series, hopefully they recapture that magic with this one

@soulless4now The blue PS2 disc means it needs to be read faster or something. If its not working try cleaning out your PS2 or look up that tape trick for the blue disc. I forgot how that went.

Of COURSE it'll come home to consoles. NMco isn't stupid (like Sega). They will do everything they can to push their quality fighters and get themto the fans. Sega needs to hop on board Nd get Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown to us before it's too late.

Biggest surprise of E3 this year for me. I can't wait to play it. I just bought the first game this year, but sadly it won't play on my ps2 because it's a blue disc. :(

I love tekken and i loved takken tag but do we really need a whole separate game to add tag team battlles? Also they managed to fix the lag in Tekken 6 and it plays great now but what happens when they they add tag battles? I guess wish we get all that in one game.

Tekken 6 was a major letdown for me. I'm pretty excited for this one though. Really hope they bring it to consoles.

If this is a sequel to Tekken Tag Tournament then I like to see all the characters from Tekken 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, Dark Resurrection, and 6 in it. If Ed Boon and them could make MK Trilogy with characters from MK1-3 and Ultimate and MK Armageddon with everyone from MK1-Deception then there's no reason Namco Bandai couldn't do the same.

It will def reach 360/PS3, but it might take a while. Anyhow, I'll be patiently waiting for it.

@mission76: Oh yes they are. And there's even an American arcade publisher called Raw Thrills and Betson you see. Even if arcade gaming in the US is dead, there are still some like Arcade Infinity in California.

Maybe this will end up at Dave & Buster's. I don't know of many arcade places in the states I'm in.We probably won't see it in the U.S. until late 2011 or even 2012. Hopefully they release it for the consoles before then. I liked the Tekken Tag more then the regular Tekken series. So this has to be better then Tekken 5 and 6.

Do they still even make arcade games for the States? I don't remember the last time I saw a newer looking arcade game, and its been even longer since I saw an arcade palor that wasn't attached to something like Chuckie Cheese!

Yay! The first Tekken Tag Tournament was just fantastic in every way. I do hope it's the same.

I still have the first Tekken Tag Tournament. this is awesome that there will be a second one but I still suck at doing all those juggle combos and stuff

This might be my reward for skipping T6. And of course they'll port it - it'll take a while, but it'll be worth it ;)

saw it coming! the gameplay is almost perfect, the balance is well placed, tier list is nothing!! thats how fightng should be and its about time to take it to the next level.... arcade center in asia will be packed when this sh!t comes out..... and for us north america consumers we have to wait for 2 years for this game to be ported out of consoles.. :(

If there was SFIV on PC why not Tekken? I'm no PC fanboy just saying the more the better that's all.

A young Heihachi, Kazuya without the nice red eye. I know the game doesn't have to do anything with the Tekken story, but I'm still curious what it's all about.

Since Tag Tournament is non canonic they should bring back Ogre, True Ogre, Jun and Michelle, it would be fun also to Tag Devil and Devil Jin for some diabolic combos XD. P.S. Jinpachi Mishima would be welcome too, so all Mishima bloodline is present, Jinpachi, Heihachi, Kazuya, Lars and Jin. And remember if your punches produces lightnings then you're a Mishima, period.

Sadly, all the arcades in my area have closed. Tekken Tag on the PS2 is perhaps my favorite of the series actually.
