Bandai Namco has released a patch for the PS4 version of Tekken 7, which addresses some issues with the game's online matchmaking functionality.

Specifically, the patch improves stability and establishes connections with other online players "more consistently." Following the update, the game will no longer share a player's character, title, rank, and wins before a match.

Additionally, the patch makes some changes to the game's voice chat, allowing players to toggle it on or off from the Option menu. Voice chat is now set to off by default.

Bandai Namco says it will make additional improvements to the game "in the coming days." The developer will release a similar patch for the Xbox One and PC versions "during the week of June 12," which likewise will address online stability and fix other assorted bugs. You can learn more about the patch on the Tekken website.

So the four months delay was all a fukking waste?!

I thought the reason was for that was to "polish" the game?

...yet, it is still "unpolished' after its release.

So that means if someone bought it and had difficulties accessing the internet with their console (most developing countries) they would be totally screwed.

How the hell would the person get all the future patches, updates, dlcs etc?

Why wasn't the game released complete in the first place?

Why are today's games released this way?

Why are developers these days adopting such bad practices?

What kind of nonsense is this?

What happened to releasing a complete game just like before?

Why are gamers not doing anything about it?

Demand a change because it is not for free!

We are paying for this games with our hard-earned money!

You have the right to receive your money's worth in return!

$60 for an incomplete disc is unacceptable!

I bet even those with an internet for their consoles have to pay for the internet services they use. They'll have to waste their monthly data downloading gigabytes of day one patches, updates or fixes all at extra costs (hidden!)

We need to stop supporting such developers.

Don't buy their games/products!

If you bought it and was displeased don't keep quiet! Spread the word! Let others know! Give them bad reviews (with actual facts just like what's happening to Tekken 7 on Amazon right now)

Next time be prudish and cautios! Don't support them anymore. Let's see if they won't change.

I am a huge Tekken fan but this is just too much.

I wouldn't bother if the games were free or someone always gave me money freely.

But since that isn't the case, I have to say something.

We're all affected by this believe it or not. It's up to us to let ourselves to be exploited continually or do something about it NOW.

@minder01: for a fighting game where you have to load everytime a match starts its pretty lame they couldn't fix it.

@longflopper: you hit it on the head. Makes me not want to play the game at all. It's a damn good game that is hampered by the load times.

@wexorian: I got the game a few hours ago and have had no real issues. Game runs buttery smooth. I did have one crash but I believe it was my computers fault itself not the actual game.
