TMNT: Shredder's Revenge Anniversary Edition Comes With Multiple Goodies And Pizza
This bodacious preorder for the anniversary edition of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge includes DLC, stickers, and pizza.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge hit a sweet spot for retro-inspired action and modern gaming when it first released last year, and if you still haven't experienced this shell-tastic game, now is a great time to preorder Limited Run's Anniversary Edition from Amazon ahead of its release on December 15. Shredder's Revenge wasn't a one-and-done game after launch, as developer Tribute Games added new characters, levels, and other bonuses to the game in the months that followed.
Preorder TMNT: Shredder's Revenge Anniversary Edition - $35

In case you missed it, Shredder's Revenge looks just like one of the classic Konami TMNT games that you could find gobbling up tokens at arcades in the '90s, and while the gameplay sticks with that era's style, thoughtful tweaks have smoothed out the action to make it a richer experience. Plus, the pixel-inspired art direction just looks fantastic alongside all the small touches that honors the legacy of TMNT.
The Anniversary Edition includes the Dimension Shellshock DLC. You can show off your ninja skills in a brand-new survival mode and play through the game as rabbit samurai Usagi Yojimbo and Shredder's daughter Karai. Additionally, there are new tracks from composer Tee Lopes and DLC stages that pay homage to multiple eras of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise. This hard copy of the game also comes with a sprite sticker sheet, art booklet, and a Pizza Hut personal pan pizza coupon.
"It's clear that the beat-'em-up connoisseurs at developer Tribute Games have a deep reverence for both that game and the Turtles of the late '80s and early '90s, because Shredder's Revenge is essentially a sequel 30 years in the making," Richard Wakeling wrote in GameSpot's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge review. "It faithfully re-captures what made Turtles in Time such a cherished brawler, all while introducing a few new ideas to freshen up the classic 16-bit gameplay for a modern audience."
