The new trailer for Ted Lasso Season 2 has been released. The second season of the acclaimed sports comedy hits Apple TV+ on July 23.

Jason Sudeikis returns as the hapless American manager of London-based soccer team AFC Richmond, and as the new trailer shows, he's still struggling to get the results he wants from his team. All the main characters are back, including club owner Rebecca (Hannah Waddingham), Lasso's taciturn long-time assistant Coach Beard (Brendan Hunt), and assistant coach Nathan (Nick Mohammed). It looks like a similar mix of laugh-out-loud jokes and warm-hearted, inspiration comedy that made Season 1 so popular last year. Check the trailer out below:

Ted Lasso Season 2 will be 12 episodes long and the whole season drops on July 23. The show also stars Jeremy Swift (Downton Abbey), Brett Goldstein (Doctor Who), Juno Temple (The Dark Knight Rises), and Phil Dunster (Murder on the Orient Express).

In a recent interview, Waddingham spoke about the pressure to deliver a second season as good as the first. "We are so precious about this show that, I'm not gonna lie, I was nervous to see how--for everyone, not just my character--I was thinking, 'Oh god, we've created such a honey. How do we not let the fans down, or where they think it'll go or whatever?'" she said. "And the brilliant thing is, the writers are on their own journey and have done us all such a service, such a great service."

Apple has already renewed Ted Lasso for Season 3. While Sudeikis previously said that he saw the show as a three season story, he recently hinted that here could be more Lasso beyond that.
