The Interactive Digital Software Association (IDSA) announced Tuesday that its keynote speaker will be industry visionary and best-selling author Don Tapscott. Tapscott is author of the best-selling digital-age books Growing Up Digital, The Digital Economy, and Blueprint to the Digital Economy: Generating Wealth in the Era of E-Business. He is also cited for coining the phrase "paradigm shift" and is the chairman of the Alliance for Converging Technologies.

Tapscott will deliver his keynote address Thursday May 13 from 8:45am to 9:45am at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

"Don Tapscott's grasp of the breakneck speed of technological change and its implications for entertainment software and hardware business will provide the perfect launching point for E3 '99, the only show which offers an annual look at everything that's new and that's next in PC, video games, and Internet technology," said Doug Lowenstein, president of the IDSA.
