In the mysterious world of game publishing, one thing that is always confusing is how long some Japanese RPG games take to make their way over to Europe, especially as the many of these games are already fully translated and released in the US several months before we even get a look at the packaging.

One such game is the rather good Tales of Vesperia, which was released to our colonial friends across the pond back in August of last year. Finally Tales of Vesperia will finally be hitting UK and Europe, courtesy of Atari, in June, which makes that only a 10 month wait from the US release!

For the uninitiated Tales of Vesperia is a J-RPG from the Tales of series and places players in the role of former imperial knight Yuri Lowell. The game takes players through the epic story of Yuri, and her battle against the Empire which is threatening the lives of the inhabitants of Terca Lumireis. As well as a real time battle system the game also features a unique cooking system in which recipes can be used to enhance stats between the inevitable random battles that occur in the game.

If you're a fan of RPG's then this is definitely one to check out, and we all need something to keep us occupied while we wait for what seems an eternity for Final Fantasy XIII.
