Tales of Graces f confirmed for March 13 release
Latest entry in Namco Bandai's long-running RPG series set to make Western debut with high-definition PS3 edition early next year.
Next year is shaping up to be a big one for fans of Japanese role-playing games. Final Fantasy XIII-2 is set for a January 31 launch, Xenoblade Chronicles will arrive April 2, and Namco Bandai's latest game in its Tales series will be released in between the two. The publisher today announced that the PlayStation 3-exclusive Tales of Graces f will hit North American shores on March 13.

Tales of Graces f takes place on Efinea, a planet dominated by three kingdoms competing for the right to rule. After losing a close friend, Asbel, the eldest son of a feudal lord, enlists in a knight's academy in his kingdom's capital to learn to better protect those he loves. Asbel's father subsequently dies, and Asbel then takes his place as a feudal lord, and the adventure begins.
Tales of Graces originally saw release on the Wii in Japan in December 2009. The game was followed by Tales of Graces f for the PlayStation 3, which sold more than 250,000 units in Japan within two weeks of its release in December 2010. The original Wii version was not released in the US.
