In the modern age of gaming, having your very own arcade isn't a pipe dream anymore. Heck, you don't even need too much space to create a coin-inserted paradise. Thanks to a wide selection of mini-devices, you can bring the joy of retro arcade gaming home with several delightful plug-and-play devices. The Taito Egret II Mini is a prime example here, and right now, the limited-edition blue model has received a massive 30% discount.

Normally retailing for $230, you can get one of these adorable arcade units for $160 at Amazon. This is a very portal unit, as it contains a a five-inch 4:3 monitor with a 1024x768 resolution and a really cool little party trick. The monitor can actually be rotated between horizontal and vertical alignments, making it perfect for shmup games where you blast everything thrown at you from the top of the screen. It also has stereo speakers built into it and ports for up to two Egret II mini-controllers via USB-C. The controllers happen to be on sale for big discounts, too.

If you do get tired of the small screen, the good news is that you can hook the unit up to your TV with the included via an included HDMI cable. The Taito Egret II Mini also comes with 40 pre-installed games, including such classics as Space Invaders, Bubble Bobble, Lunar Rescue, Darius Gaiden and many more, and you can use the SD card slot to add more games that you own. As for the games, these feature save states, adjustable lives, and rapid-fire options. This version of the mini-arcade cabinet only received a limited-edition run of 5,000 units, so it likely won't be around for long at this price.
