Taika Waititi's Jojo Rabbit Gets Outrageous And Moving Full Trailer

"It's definitely not a good time to be a Nazi."

The full trailer for Jojo Rabbit is here. The latest movie from Thor Ragnarok director Taika Waititi is a wartime satire staring Scarlett Johansson and Sam Rockwell, and it hits theaters next month.

The trailer features young star Roman Griffin as young German boy Jojo, who discovers a young Jewish girl hiding in the house he shares with his mom (Johansson). Rockwell plays a Nazi captain, while Waititi appears as the Jojo's imaginary friend, a weird and funny version of Adolf Hitler. In Waititi's hands it looks like a hilarious but moving film set during one of the darkest times of the 20th Century, and is sure to be one of the fall's most talked-about releases. Check the trailer out below.

Jojo Rabbit releases on October 18 and also stars Alfie Allen (Game of Thrones), Rebel Wilson (Pitch Perfect 3), and Stephen Merchant (Logan). Check out the first trailer here.

Waititi's next movie will see him return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Thor: Love and Thunder was announced at San Diego Comic-Con in July, and will star Chris Hemsowrth and Natalie Portman. It releases on November 5, 2021. Unfortunately, Waititi's live-action adaptation of the classic anime and manga Akira has been delayed yet again, due to "development concerns,” with the new release date currently unknown.
