SWAT: Global Strike Team ships

VU Games announces that both the PS2 and Xbox versions of its tactical shooter have shipped to stores in North America.


Vivendi Universal Games has today announced that SWAT: Global Strike Team for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox has shipped to stores across North America. Developed by Argonaut, the game is a squad-based tactical first-person shooter in which players assume the role of a former member of the Delta Force-turned-SWAT leader.

SWAT: Global Strike Team allows players to issue orders to squadmates using an optional voice recognition system and, in addition to the single-player game, boasts a number of multiplayer modes, including cooperative play and deathmatch support.
