Surviving Capcom's Dino Crisis
Capcom has announced its next survival horror game for the PlayStation - Dino Crisis.
On Monday, GameSpot News reported on a new game by Capcom being designed by some of the same people who designed Resident Evil. That game, featuring a dinosaur threat rather than a zombie threat, is called Dino Crisis and will be introduced at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show. It was unveiled today in Japan at a press conference hosted by Capcom.
The game will be a bit different from Resident Evil. Instead of a fixed camera showing polygon characters against prerendered backgrounds, Dino Crisis will be in real time (like Konami's Silent Hill). In it, you play the role of a female investigator who is being hounded by creatures right out of Jurassic Park.
Dino Crisis will be released in Japan in July.
