DreamCatcher has announced that SuperPower, its latest turn-based strategy game, has shipped and will soon arrive in stores. The game lets players take control of a modern-day nation and oversee the military, economic, and political growth of the country. It features the largest military database ever used in a strategy game, including more than 4,000 different military units and every significant statistic published about 140 of the most prominent nations around the world.

SuperPower lets players set their own victory conditions and time limit. The game begins in 1997, and players can choose to play for as little as one year in game time or as many as 10 years or more. The goals of the game can range from managing national resources to taking over the world.

SuperPower was developed by Golem Labs and will soon be available in stores for an approximate retail price of $29.99. For more information, take a look at our previous coverage of the game and download the playable demo linked below.
