Supergirl Photos Reveal a Young Superman in Upcoming Episode

After yesterday's announcement of The Flash and Supergirl having crossover episode, many fans are wondering when another big name DC comics character is coming to CBS' Supergirl. Kal-El, the boy who would eventually become Superman and Supergirl's cousin, will be popping up in the February 8 episode of the series.

In the episode titled "For the Girl Who Has Everything," Daniel DiMaggio will play a young Kal-El, where an alien parasite, Black Mercy, will attach itself to Supergirl and put her in a dreamlike state. In said state, Krypton was never destroyed and Kara never went to Earth.

While this may not be the Superman fans want to see on the show, this episode should give a bit of insight into Kara's life on Krypton, before she was sent to Earth and what Kal-El was like as a child. As of this time, there's no information if DiMaggio may be reprising his role for future flashbacks.

This episode of Supergirl airs on Monday, February 8 at 8/7C on CBS.
