"To the fan's we're still excluding I'll leave you with this: Wii haven't forgotten about U."
Super Meat Boy was first released for Xbox 360 in 2010. Since then it has been made available on most platforms, with the exception of Nintendo's. A Wii U release would mark the first appearance of Meat Boy on a Nintendo system.
Five years since its initial release, Super Meat Boy launched for PS4 and Vita on Tuesday. As a Cross-Buy title, a single purchase on either of these platforms unlocks it for the other at no additional cost.
PlayStation Plus members, meanwhile, get download the game for free, along with these rest of the PS Plus October lineup.
