Super Mario Bros. 2 comes to Euro VC

love this game! although better with pc emulator and control pad...

That's what I've been trying to tell people: the greatest games come to Europe first, or exclusively, a lot more often than most realize. Go play the PC version of Mega Man X8 and you'll know what I mean. Wow, amazing! I think it's only sold via digital download in the us. On the other hand. It's been over 14 years now, and Mega Man 6 has still NEVER been legally released in any form, on any platform, anywhere in Europe. I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo puts both Super Mario All-Stars and Super Mario All-Stars + Super Mario World on VC. Trivia: The first one was sold in all three major regions, but the Super Mario World edition did not appear in Japan.

Yet another deserved classic that I'm glad went on the service.

I am hoping for Super Mario All Stars (SNES) to come out on VC soon.

Downloaded it yesterday. Still rocks after all these years.

I am a fan of Mario but Super Mario Bros 2 was not a game I enjoyed. I wonder when Super Mario Bros The Lost Levels will be on the Virtual Console.

Actually, nowhere does it says that Paper Mario is coming out next week, unless you're getting some foreign version of the magazine. It is mentioned there, meaning it is coming soon.. of course, Zelda 2 was mentioned back in April, and it's nearly June and we have yet to see it. But hopefully it will still be here Monday, I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Yeah, okay. When does the US get SMB3 though? I hate SMB2, so I don't care about it.

Oh, just to let you know that it has been unconfirmed reports that the original Paper Mario from the N64 will be coming to the VC shortly (Source: Joystiq) It's true. In July NP it says next week Paper Mario for n64.

Mach Rider was an awesome game in the day. You could make your own tracks and was fun to ride.

I don't see why Nintendo is not releasing Super Mario All-Stars for the VC. You play all 4 classic Mario games for the price of $8. Why is Nintendo trying to rip us off like this?

SMB2 is still one of my favourite games, glad to see some real classics popping up on VC. Might go and break out the ole toaster for a quick play :-)
