Sumner fills CEO slot at RedOctane
Former Take-Two exec takes reins at Guitar Hero publisher.
With the success of the lauded rhythm game Guitar Hero behind it, the game's publisher, RedOctane, is looking to leverage its recent success with a move to beef up its executive suite. The Sunnyvale, California-based company today named former Take-Two and Gathering of Developers executive Kelly Sumner its chief executive officer. "I'm delighted to return to the industry I love in a position many would kill for," Sumner said in a statement.
