Suikoden III Japanese release date set

Konami Computer Entertainment Tokyo has announced it will release Suikoden III for the PlayStation 2 on July 11 in Japan. The third installment in the series takes place 15 years after Suikoden II, and it tells the story of three characters from different perspectives using the new "trinity sight" system. The game also features a revamped battle system that divides the six-member party into pairs during battle.

A North American release of Suikoden III has been confirmed, though no specific details have been revealed regarding its release.
