Suffering sequel named, Xbox version revealed

The follow-up to Surreal's supernatural shooter is now called The Suffering: Ties That Bind.

Surreal Software has opened an official Web page for its previously announced sequel to last year's horror shooter, The Suffering. The bare-bones page reveals nothing about the game's plot and has yet to be populated with the advertised screenshots, trailers, or concept art. However, the page does reveal the final title for the sequel, which will henceforth be called The Suffering: Ties That Bind. (What said ties will be binding has yet to be determined.)

Last year, an earnings statement by Midway Games revealed that a sequel to the Suffering would be released for the PlayStation 2. However, there is evidence on the game's site that Suffering: Ties That Bind will now also be released for the Xbox.

GameSpot will have more on the The Suffering: Ties That Bind as further information is released.
