CDV unveils its upcoming World War II real-time strategy sequel.

CDV Software has announced Sudden Strike II, its upcoming sequel to the World War II real-time strategy game Sudden Strike. The new game will let players command the Russian, British, American, German, or Japanese forces during World War II. Each side will have realistically modeled vehicles and troops. In addition, the new game will feature a more realistic damage modeling system.

Sudden Strike II is in development at Fireglow, the studio that created the previous game, and it is scheduled for release in the second quarter of 2002.
