Take-Two Interactive has opened a new official Web site for Stronghold, its upcoming real-time strategy game based on siege warfare. The new site contains information about the game's features, storyline, and enemies, and it includes downloadable wallpapers, a minigame, and a playable demo. In addition, the site features a gallery of screenshots and artwork from the game.

Stronghold lets players build villages, towns, and castles, and they must manage their settlements and defend against attacks. In addition to more than 20 story-based single-player missions, the game includes multiplayer support for up to eight players.

Stronghold is nearing completion at Firefly Studios and will be published by Take-Two Interactive under the GodGames label. The game is scheduled for release later this month for an approximate retail price of $34.95.
