Street Fighter's Ryu, Chun-Li, And More Meet The Power Rangers In Legacy Wars Crossover
Android and iOS fighting game gets an epic video game crossover.
Power Rangers: Legacy Wars is getting some new playable characters sure to expand its fan base. The mobile fighting game is adding several characters from Street Fighter on both iOS and Android, all of which are now available to play for free for a limited time. Here are the Street Fighter characters added to the game, along with their move sets:
- Ryu--Shoryuken, Hadoken, and Tatsumaki Senpukyaku
- Chun-Li--Spinning Bird Kick, Kikoken, and Hyakuretsukyaku
- Guile--Sonic Boom, Flash Kick, and Sonic Cross
- Akuma--Gou-Hadoken, Zanku Hadoken, and Tatsumaki Senpukyaku
The characters will be available for free while playing the limited time challenges. To permanently unlock them, you can buy each of the characters via in-app purchase starting at $5, or by opening in-game Morph Boxes and collecting character shards. On June 15, Cammy and longtime series villain M. Bison will also be added.
"Seeing Street Fighter characters duking it out with Power Rangers is truly new and magical. It's never been done before and now we are making it happen in Power Rangers: Legacy Wars, proving the rising trend of competitive mobile gaming in the West," said Taehoon Kim, CEO of publisher nWay.
Power Rangers: Legacy Wars is a free-to-play, multiplayer mobile fighting game, where players take on classic enemy Rita Repulsa. In the game, the evil space witch corrupts the Morphin Grid from within, hoping to destroy the legacy of the Power Rangers forever. Players must take on Rita and the virtual Ranger clones and monsters she’s created by teaming up with Zordon and using Zeo Shards to gain power.
