Street Fighter V doesn't launch for another week, but we're already learning some specifics about the DLC characters to come after release. Capcom today confirmed that the character Alex will join the roster as Street Fighter V's first DLC character when he launches sometime in March.

Alex, along with Guile, Ibuki, Balrog, Juri, and Urien, were officially announced as DLC characters for Street Fighter V back in December, but until now, we didn't know which would come out first. Alex made his Street Fighter debut with Street Fighter III

All of these characters can be unlocked through gameplay for free. Alternatively, players can spend real-world money to unlock them, though pricing has not been announced yet.

In addition, Capcom today confirmed that Street Fighter V on PlayStation 4 will work with PlayStation 3 controllers you may already own.

In addition to DLC characters, Capcom will support Street Fighter V with a a free story mode this summer.

Street Fighter V launches February 16 for PS4 and PC, featuring cross-platform play between the two systems. The game is never coming to Xbox One, according to Capcom.
