The next DLC character for Street Fighter V, Urien, will be released in September, Capcom has announced.

Capcom confirmed the news with GameSpot today, saying in a statement, "Urien is still planned to be released in September and we'll have more details to share next month."

It was unclear if Urien would end up being released in September, as several previous DLC characters launched later than expected. There was also no mention of the character when Capcom recently detailed the August and September updates

However, there was speculation (as reported by EventHubs) that he might be coming in September. The September update includes new costumes for all six DLC characters, but that can't happen without the sixth character being released. Now we know he'll be out in September, presumably as part of that same update.

Urien's inclusion in the game was first discovered when dataminers found references to him (and other characters) in last year's beta. He was first made playable with the Story mode update, but will become a full-fledged character with his release in September.
