The original story is below.

What if the characters from Stranger Things came to the world of Harry Potter? That's the idea that a new video from Comedy Central titled "Potter Things" imagines--and it works pretty well.

There are some pretty slickly edited scenes in the video, including the opening sequence that imagines Hogwarts as the government testing facility from the Netflix show. "This castle will not only be your home this year, but home to some very special guests as well," Dumbledore says, as the scene shifts to the faces of the male leads from Stranger Things. Of course, Eggo waffles make an appearance, while Snape gives a lecture to Eleven about why she shouldn't steal the treats, holding a vial of truth serum to threaten her. The Vale of Shadows, what the boys from Stranger Things call the Upside Down before knowing what it is, is depicted as a Pensieve from Harry Potter. The video contains some story spoilers, so be aware of that. Take a look:

In other news about Stranger Things, Netflix has released a video that honors the missing character, Barb, and also warns that you should not go to Mirkwood tonight on your trick-or-treating adventures.

Additionally, Funko announced today that it's making Pop Vinyl figures for all of the main characters, as well as the Demogorgon.

Stranger Things Season 2 premieres on Netflix in 2017. According to Matt and Ross Duffer, the show's creators, it will be "darker and weirder" than the first season. The plot is a mystery, but Netflix has confirmed that actors from Power Rangers and American Odyssey are joining the show for its second season.
