Steep Trailer Shows Off Its Open-World Action, Unicorn Outfits
Steep's first beta begins this week.
The release date for Steep, Ubisoft's new open-world extreme sports game, is quickly approaching. The company today released a new overview trailer for the game, offering a brief rundown on what it has to offer.
If you're familiar with Steep, you won't be surprised by the bulk of the video. It showcases the various types of activities you can take part in, like snowboarding and paragliding down some gorgeous mountains.
While it does offer a fairly realistic take on these things, it does have a less serious side as well. That's evidenced during a few moments in the trailer, such as the 28-second mark, where we see some silly-looking unicorn and giraffe costumes you can hit the slopes with.
Steep launches for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on December 2. Before then, you'll have the opportunity to try out the game through a pair of betas. The first of these kicks off tomorrow, November 10, though you'll need to register before then for access. A second beta will run later this month that is open to everyone.
We tried the game at E3 and found it to be thrilling, although the controls presented a challenge.
