Steam Is Down [Update: It's Back Online]
It seems Steam's services are back online--for now.
Update: Steam is back up and running, according to the unofficial community project Steam Status. After a bit of downtime, several services, including the Community and Store pages, are online again. Valve has not provided an official statement on the matter, but it seems everything is back to normal for Steam.

Steam has gone down as several services, including the Community and Store pages, are presently inaccessible. Several reports and user complaints across social media indicate that nothing is working, while Valve has yet to officially comment on the matter.
Steam Status, an unofficial community project that tracks the status of Steam's services, has provided updates on the situation. As of right now, according to Steam Status, more than half of Steam's is down. Going to any part of Steam returns an error message that simply says the site is "currently unavailable."
