State of Decay 2 Release Date, Gameplay, Systems and More Info Coming at E3 2017
"Pace yourselves, mark your calendars, and get ready to party with us this June."
Developer Undead Labs will announce State of Decay 2's release date and more details about platform availability during E3 2017, the studio announced today.
"The release date will be revealed, along with gameplay, systems, and so much more, at E3 2017," Undead Labs founder Jeff Strain in a blog post. "So pace yourselves, mark your calendars, and get ready to party with us this June."
State of Decay 2 was announced back at this year's E3 in June (watch the announcement trailer above). It's a four-player co-op game, rather than the MMO Undead had discussed previously.
The game is confirmed for 2017, but as mentioned, we're expecting to learn a specific date in June 2017, at E3. It's confirmed for at least PC and Xbox One. On those systems, it's an Xbox Play Anywhere game, letting those who buy it digitally play on both platforms.
Undead Labs also released a creepy holiday card today; check it out:
State of Decay was originally released in June 2013 for Xbox 360, before coming to PC in 2013. A version of the game called the Year One Survival Edition launched for Xbox One in 2015.
