Eidos Interactive has announced that its latest strategy game, Startopia, is now available in stores. To celebrate the occasion, Mucky Foot Productions is holding an alien design contest in which contestants can submit their own drawings of alien creatures. The entries will be judged by a panel of Mucky Foot artists, and the winner will receive a Startopia fun bag, a selection of Eidos games, and a framed piece of original design artwork. In addition, the winning entry may be featured in the next installment of Startopia, with full credit given to the designer.

Those who wish to participate in the contest can send alien designs by e-mail from now until July 31 to webmaster@muckyfoot.com with "Design Competition" as the subject header.

Startopia is now available in stores for an approximate retail price of $39.95. For more information, take a look at our full review of the game.
