Stardew Valley PS4/Xbox One Patches Coming, Include Control Improvements

Updates are on the way in the new few weeks.

Following its release on PS4 and Xbox One this week, Stardew Valley developer Eric Barone has announced that patches are on the way.

Among other things, these will feature unspecified control improvements. Controller support on PC has been criticized in the past, and the new console versions' controls have also been the source of some complaints.

Other issues set to be addressed include crashes and freezes. The full list that was shared follows below.

  • Game crashes when going to sleep around the 3rd day, if the system language is not english. (PS4)
  • Game crashes in certain cases if the Exit To Title button was used (Xbox One)
  • Occasional hitching/freezing in the Xbox One version
  • GUI elements cut off on the edges of the screen on certain TV setups
  • Control improvements

Timing for the updates wasn't announced. All we know is they'll be coming "in the next few weeks."
