StarCraft II at the MLG Spring Championship in Anaheim, June 8-10, will feature the MLG Spring Championship, the USA Nationals of the StarCraft II World Championship Series, the 8-player KeSPA Pro Invitational, and the Heart of the Swarm beta on 200 demo stations. MLG Spring Championship StarCraft II Event Information
Hundreds of StarCraft II players from around the world will compete for in the MLG Spring Championship for $76,000 in prizes, with first place receiving $25,000. Will there be another epic rematch of DRG and MarineKing or will viOLet show his Spring Arena 2 Championship was not a fluke.
Starcraft II World Championship Series USA Nationals
The StarCraft II World Championship Series USA Nationals will also be at the MLG Spring Championship. There will be 64 participants who will be invited through a combination of qualifiers and the StarCraft II ladder to compete in best-of-3 games, double elimination tournament for $30,000 in prizes. The Top 16 will receive an invitation to compete in the StarCraft II World Championship Series North America Finals.
The KeSPA (Korean eSports Association) Pro Invitational will feature 8 current Brood War pro players playing in a StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty Expo Tournament for the first time in the US. The players include: Jaedong, Flash, Fantasy, Bisu, Stork, Leta, Neo.G_Soulkey, Calm.
