Star Wars: Watch Daisy Ridley Avoid Answering More Questions About The Last Jedi

"Who are Rey's parents?"

For the second time in as many weeks, actor Josh Gad has grilled Star Wars actress Daisy Ridley for answers about The Last Jedi and the wider Star Wars fiction.

Gad starts off his new video (watch below) by apologizing to Ridley for catching his Murder on the Orient Express co-star off-guard with his first video, in which he invited her to his trailer under false pretenses. In this new video, Gad gives Ridley what he claims are notes from Murder on the Orient Express director Kenneth Branagh--but it's really just a ploy to try to get answers out of Ridley.

According to the fake notes, Ridley's character in Murder on the Orient Express would answer questions like,"Who are Rey's parents?," "Am I a Jedi?," and "Is Finn paralyzed from the waist down?"

"And then it says you answer honestly," Gad says about the notes (via Collider). He asks Ridley if she wants to practice answering these questions truthfully right now, but she doesn't budge, and promptly leaves the trailer.

Last year, Ridley suggested that The Last Jedi might reveal the identity of her parents.

The Last Jedi is an intriguing and mysterious title. It might be a reference to Luke Skywalker, who was referred to as the last Jedi in The Force Awakens' opening crawl. Jedi can also be plural. Check out GameSpot's breakdown here to find out what we think The Last Jedi could mean.

Mark Hamill, who plays Luke Skywalker, responded to Episode VIII finally getting a name, saying he likes how minimalist The Last Jedi is. He also said he likes how the title has a "samurai" feel to it.

Following a delay, The Last Jedi arrives in theaters on December 15, 2017. It also stars John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Laura Dern, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, and Andy Serkis. Carrie Fisher filmed her Leia scenes for the movie before she passed away in December.
